Eyes and Independence
Rubbish on the ground9/5/2016 To the person travelling independently with their cane, or assistance dog, who experiences crunching of paper underfoot and a trail of noisy wrappers along the path - Did you know it could very easily be wrappers thrown out of a window or dropped on the ground as they were walking along, usually of a McDonald's nature. When we see rubbish on the ground, I cannot believe the amount of times, it is take away bags and wrappers. Not sure why? Could it be that the person who has eaten it does not want to be found out? It's everywhere and it's a disgrace. Put the rubbish in the bin and if there isn't one closeby, keep hold of it until there is! Not only is it affecting the environment but it could also be blocking up a clear pathway for a person trying to just walk on through!
