Eyes and Independence
A CHILD'S WORK SAMPLE13/11/2017 This week I decided to share something from one of the children that I am supporting. At school, she has just written her 'Letter to Santa' in braille (good to hear she is planning ahead) and for those who require the print, I have included it below the brailled letter to click on. Perhaps, the children today are not asking for quite as much? ![]()
If you would like to share your child's 'Santa Letter' over the next month or so, and have it published on this page, email it to eyesandindependence@gmail.com

This post will touch our hearts and this is the best blog that I have read so far because we can see that the heart of the children are pure and full of joy. The letter of the child to Santa Claus is really simple and that is a good news. This means that they only ask simple things and they are happy with a simple life. Life is not that complicated and we should see it in that way. Simple things are more fun to enjoy and will be more satisfying to enjoy. The children should see the world in a beautiful way so that a right mindset will be established.

Most of the kids, every Christmas they used to write a letter of their wish to Santa because they are expecting that Santa will grant all their wishes. This letter was written in a form of braille, I find it very special knowing that this child gives effort in writing a message to Santa even though she is disabled. I appreciate how the author Kerri Weaver provides service to the children with disabilities, and how passionate she is about sharing her knowledge and skills in supporting those with vision impairment, multiple impairments and those with associated syndromes. ThaNk you for sharing this cute little message written in braille and for supporting the children, I admire you for your advocacy and for being a kind-hearted.
